Handmade Sterling Silver Holding Hands Necklace

Of all the jewelry I create, the Holding Hands Necklace is my favorite. It’s a piece about connection, support, collaboration, and the invisible bonds that link us to one another.

I originally sculpted the hands in wax and created a mold from the design. Each hand is cast in silver and then carefully soldered together in a way that allows gentle movement, while keeping them forever connected. The result is a necklace that feels alive, expressive, and deeply symbolic.

This design is especially beloved by artists, massage therapists, interpreters, makers, caregivers, and other creative people whose work is guided by their hands. It serves as a reminder of the relationships, skills, and acts of care that shape our lives.

The silver hands hang from a durable sterling silver chain with a dark oxidized patina that beautifully contrasts with the bright silver.
