Big Orbit Earrings

These earrings feature freshwater pearls held within delicate silver orbits, like small planets suspended in their own quiet gravitational fields.

Since I began my jewelry practice 15 years ago (time is crazy), I’ve been drawn to creating pieces inspired by space—stars, orbits, and the patterns that repeat through the universe. My father was an astronomer and tried to pass along his love of the cosmos. I didn’t inherit his mathematical mind, but I did absorb his sense of wonder. 

These earrings are part of that long exploration: luminous pearls held in motion, echoing celestial bodies caught in orbit.

I make them by hand in sterling silver with silver posts and backings, they measure approximately 2" by 2". A wearable reflection of space, memory, and the stars.
