Hawthorn Branch Big Victorian Necklace

This handmade hawthorn branch necklace is a tribute to one of my favorite trees, rich with folklore, symbolism, and protective energy. Hawthorn has long been known as a heart protector in traditional myth and herbal lore, often associated with boundaries, emotional strength, and the magic of the natural world. Like roses, hawthorn trees hold a beautiful duality—soft blossoms paired with protective thorns.

I created this piece as a talisman for sensitive, open hearts—something to carry a sense of grounding and protection while still remaining open to love and connection.

The hawthorn branches I hand carved in wax and then cast in sterling silver, At the center is a luminous rose-cut labradorite with flashes of blue, adding a mystical, shifting light.
